Stephen E. Metzinger, MD, MSPH, FACS is a Triple Board Certified Surgeon and has full privileges at Houma Outpatient Surgery Center along with his surgical assistant Rhonda Abadie, CST. Houma Outpatient is an Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) facility. Dr. Metzinger performs all of his Cosmetic, ENT, and Craniomaxillofacial procedures at Houma Outpatient. The surgery center is located in the heart of the CBD in Metairie on Houma Boulevard behind East Jefferson Hospital.
HOSC was founded in 1985 and provides excellent medical care driven by a team of dedicated nurses, board-certified anesthesiologists, medical technicians, and skilled surgeons. Dr. Metzinger always says, “ We only operate at an accredited facilitybecause nothing is worth your life.” The facility offers three fully-equipped surgical suites, ample parking, and a comfortable recovery area.
