Dr. Stephen Eric Metzinger M.D., F.A.C.S.

Stephen E. Metzinger, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.  He obtained his undergraduate degree at Tulane University, and received a Masters of Science in Public Health from the Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine.  He then completed four years of study at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans.  He received multiple honors and was elected to national honor societies.  He served on the faculty at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.  He developed the basic science laboratory for the Plastic Surgery Division, and served as director of Resident Research for both Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology.  He has served as Co-Program Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program.  During that time, several important publications and advancements were developed.  Dr. Metzinger has become a renowned and highly respected aesthetic surgeon and has been asked to lecture and teach his techniques.  Dr. Metzinger is Triple Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.  Dr. Metzinger’s major areas of interests are cosmetic surgery of the face, nose, breast and body.
